The Port of Duluth is a member of the Great Lakes Cruising Coalition, a joint American-Canadian group that supports passenger cruising on the Great Lakes. Companies offering Great Lakes cruises include the Great Lakes Cruise Company, Classic Golf Cruises, American Canadian Caribbean Cruise Line Inc., Pearl Seas Cruises, and the St. Lawrence Cruise Line. Travelers can find cruise opportunities that will take them around the Great Lakes or up the St. Lawrence Seaway to the Atlantic Ocean and beyond.

Visitors to the Port of Duluth will enjoy all the city has to offer. A cosmopolitan center for northeastern Minnesota, it boasts a ballet, symphony orchestra, and playhouse. It also offers the Tweed Museum of Art and the Duluth Art Institute. Rail and shipping enthusiasts will want to visit the Lake Superior Railroad Museum and the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center.
