The Georgia Ports Authority operates the Port of Brunswick at four terminals: Marine Port, Mayor's Point, Colonel's Island Agri-bulk, and Colonel's Island RoRo. The Port of Brunswick is central to the city's economy.

The Port of Brunswick is one of the East Coast's most dynamic seaports, and it is the country's sixth busiest port for automobiles, being the main export facility for both Ford, General Motors, and Mercedes-Benz. It is also a busy import facility for Jaguar, Porsche, Volvo, Hyundai, Land Rover, Kia, and Mitsubishi. The Port of Brunswick specializes in handling breakbulk, agri-bulk, and roll-on/roll-off cargoes.

The Mayor's Point Terminal in the Port of Brunswick is a dedicated breakbulk facility that is a distribution center for a range of solid wood and forest products including linerboard, woodpulp, paper products, and plywood. This Port of Brunswick terminal encompasses 22 acres and has 533.4 meters (1750 feet) of berthing space with alongside depth of 11 meters (36 feet), over eight acres of transit sheds, and almost eight acres of open storage.

Two rail providers serve the Mayor's Point Terminal with 610 meters (2000 feet) of track. The Port of Brunswick's Mayor's Point Terminal is also conveniently located to Interstate Highways 95, 10, and 16. The Georgia Ports Authority owns and operates the terminal. The terminal's channel is 107 meters (350 feet) wide with a depth of 11 meters (36 feet) MLW. The East River Turning Basin in the Port of Brunswick is 317-by-372 meters (1040-by-1220 feet).

Storage pace at the Port of Brunswick's Mayor's Point Terminal includes four paved acres and 3.9 unpaved acres of open storage. With 610 meters (2000 feet) of rail siding, Shed 1 covers 28.3 thousand meters (305 thousand square feet). Shed 2 covers 4.6 thousand square meters (50 thousand square feet). This Port of Brunswick terminal is served by ten forklifts with capacity to handle from four to seven metric tons.

The Port of Brunswick's Colonel's Island Terminal RoRo Facility is owned and operated by the Georgia Ports Authority. One of the United States' biggest auto-handling facilities, the RoRo Facility in the Port of Brunswick has three modern roll-on/roll-off berths and three auto processors. Customers include not only automotive manufacturers but several manufacturers of agricultural and industrial equipment.

This Port of Brunswick Terminal is served by two railroad providers (CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern) and has easy access to several Interstate Highways. The channel to the RoRo Facility in the Port of Brunswick is 122 meters (400 feet) wide with a depth of 11 meters (36 feet) MLW. The turning basin on the South Brunswick River is 366 meters (1200 feet) in diameter.

The Colonel's Island Terminal RoRo Facility in the Port of Brunswick specializes in roll-on/roll-off and project cargoes. It encompasses more than 1700 acres, and the autoport facility covers 1.3 thousand acres. The terminal also has 346 acres of paved open storage.

The Port of Brunswick's Colonel's Island Terminal RoRo Facility has three main berths and expansion capacity for two more berths. Berth 1 has berthing space of 168 meters (550 feet) with alongside depth of 11 meters (36 feet) MLW. Berth 2 has berthing space of 229 meters (750 feet) with alongside depth of 12 meters (40 feet) MLW. Berth 3 has berthing space of 168 meters (550 feet) with alongside depth of 11 meters (36 feet) MLW. Berth 1 has 24-hour lighted docks and roads.

The Port of Brunswick's Colonel's Island Terminal Agri-bulk Facility is one of the biggest deep-water agri-bulk operations in the region. With turnkey services for agri-businesses throughout the Midwest and Southeastern United States, the terminal's dedicated agri-bulk berth can accommodate a wide variety of agricultural products with combined flat and vertical storage. Served by two railways, this Port of Brunswick terminal is also convenient to Interstate Highway 95.

The Colonel's Island Terminal Agri-bulk Facility in the Port of Brunswick encompasses over 1700 acres and includes a 71.2-acre agri-bulk facility. The channel to the terminal is 122 meters (400 feet) wide with a depth of 11 meters (36 feet) MLW. The turning basin on the South Brunswick River is 366 meters (1200 feet) in diameter.

The Port of Brunswick's Colonel's Island Terminal Agri-bulk Facility has wharf area of 229 meters (750 feet), and Berth 2 has berthing space of 282 meters (925 feet) with alongside depth of 12 meters (40 feet) MLW. This Port of Brunswick terminal has capacity to receive 40 thousand bushels per hour from truck, 40 thousand bushels per hour from rail, and 11 thousand bushels per hour from ship. Outbound loading capacity is 40 bushels per hour to ship. The terminal can load eight semi-trailer-trucks per hour and six rail hoppers per hour.

The Colonel's Island Terminal Agri-bulk Facility in the Port of Brunswick has flat storage with capacity for 36.8 thousand short tons. The terminal contains 14 silos with a combined capacity for 10 thousand short tons. Two steel tanks can handle a total of 18 thousand short tons. Total combined storage at the Agri-bulk Facility is 64.8 thousand short tons.

Also owned and operated by the Georgia Ports Authority, the Marine Port Terminals in the Port of Brunswick is a secured deep-water facility handling a mix of bulk and breakbulk cargoes. The facility encompasses 145 acres and has a total of 736 meters (2415 feet) of berthing space. This Port of Brunswick terminal also contains 11.3 acres of covered storage and 15 acres of open storage. Served by two railroads, the terminal also has easy access to Interstate Highway 95.

The Port of Brunswick's Marine Port Terminals covers an area of 72 acres. The channel is 122 meters (400 feet) wide with a depth of 11 meters (36 feet), and the Port of Brunswick's East River Turning Basin is 317-by-372 meters (1040-by-1220 feet). The Marine Port Terminals specializes in handling dry and liquid bulk and breakbulk cargoes.

All of the Marine Port Terminals' berths have alongside depth of 9.1 meters (30 feet). Berth 1 has berthing space of 171 meters (560 feet). Berth 2 has berthing space of 165 meters (540 feet). Berth 3 has berthing space of 165 meters (540 feet). The Lanier Dock in the Port of Brunswick's Marine Port Terminals has berthing space of 152 meters (500 feet). The Liquid Barge Berth has berthing space of 84 meters (276 feet).

The Marine Port Terminals in the Port of Brunswick has a total of 146.3 thousand square meters (480 thousand square feet) of warehousing. This includes four transit sheds with 51.8 thousand square meters (170 thousand square feet) of storage space. The L-shed has 3.8 thousand square meters (30 thousand square feet) of storage. The warehouses in the Port of Brunswick Marine Port Terminals offer a total of 90.7 thousand square meters (297.5 thousand square feet), which includes 9.7 thousand square meters (32 thousand square feet) in the Glynn Distributors Warehouse.
